Altered Couture of the Month- Customize Your Shoes Tutorial

Recently, I was in the market for a new pair of black wedge sandals. Though I liked the simple form of these wedges from Urban Outfitters, I wasn't crazy about the non-black heel. At first I thought, "thats ok, I'll just buy them and rub black shoe polish over the pseudo-suede heel." Ok. So probably not the best idea I ever had, but thats the great thing about thinking... sometimes one thought leads you to ANOTHER! And lucky for you my blog on Artful Living is here to share it with you!!

okay so let me begin by stating the obvious: these look amazing.

however, i was particularly struck by the part where you wrote the names of the artists because it reminded me of the banners that hang over the starbucks inside barnes and noble that depict all the coolest writers.

They look amazing! I love how you even labelled them with your own name and logos ;) A Question: what are they like in the wet? Any chance of your beautiful handprinted sandals being spoiled by a puddle? 'Cause you never know...

These are great, so creative! I, too, love the addition of the artist's signatures. A very empowering pair of sandals and very unique. You should consider teaming up with a shoe company. (PS, It's always fun to see how a fellow school mate has pursued their art!)

I was so amazed with this post and with that sandals. Having a pair of that personalized shoes is a great possession. You can't see any where the same as you have.
