i am a self-defined Nuyorican creative (that is a Puerto Rican who is from both the isles of Manhattan, NYC and the Caribbean). I share daily in the joy of education and live in a cute port town in New York, in a 'teensy-weensy' apartment with my two dogs and canary named Valentino. Glass Illustrations

Monkey See Monkey Do by marisol diaz

This illustration was sandblasted onto sheet glass (via the use of Iconics films) that was white washed and fired first. Then black reusche (kiln-fired powder pigment) was rubbed into the etched glass and re-fired. I'll be writing more about vitreous painting in the next post.

Love this one. To me it shows that even thow were all animals it is amazing that we always want to do what every one else does.Great name monkey see monkey do it sounds very familiar to me. how about to you?
