New Art Pieces for Azucarera NYC

As promised I'm showing an update on the art work I've been making for the gallery show coming up on April 10th. The opening will be Saturday the 10th from 7-9pm.

For those of you who don't know what I'm working on, these pieces are exploring aspects of self and manifestations of the animalistic parts of our nature.

Yesterday I took a break from painting, did some spring cleaning and had some friends come over for an Anti- Bahamas gathering. I received an AWESOME pen pal letter and gift in the mail that I will be sure to blog about this week.

I am loving the works posted above thus far and truly looking forward to your show. And now onto your question....well I associate with more than one gorgeous and noble creature. The three I have such a powerfl connection with are felines (both domestic and 'wild'), wolves and falcons.
Far be it for me to make it simple and just choose one...sorry =0)

My inner animal is probably something slow moving and graceful like an african elephant traveling in a pack... or at least, I'd like to be. :)

If I had to associate myself with an animal it would be a capuchin monkey. Their highly social, energetic. They communicate with screams just like me, LOL.

I associate myself with dogs-loyal, friendly, fierce and haughty at times.

SUPER easy question. I've been called a rabbit all my life, and I agree... curious, energetic, can be calm one minute but easily frightened away the next, and also rather small...

An owl of course;) I like to observe but will act quickly if necessary. Plus, I get quite active between 22:00 and 23:00.
